You have probably heard about the most common learning styles i.e. visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning and
custom writing. We use a combination of these three styles to understand and interpret things we learn. We have discussed each of these styles in detail:
1. Visual Learning
Learners use visual images like videos, pictures, demonstrations, flow charts, and films. It helps them remember things easily. You can use videos effectively by breaking down a topic into smaller chunks for easy absorption. Similarly, students can relate various facts linked to a single chart easily and quickly.
2. Verbal Learning
People who love novels, music, arts, etc. usually prefer verbal learning method. They are active listeners and understand things while reading. Auditory learners are very good at mastering different languages. The learning process helps to excel in reading, writing, listening and speaking. They are good at memorizing things.
3. Logical Learning
Logical learning is the ability to solve problems in a linear order. Logical learners are good at logical thinking and mathematical reasoning. They use deductive to understand and often relate concepts. They investigate and look for patterns in a concept. They prefer playing cards and chess, mini mysteries, and mind games.
4. Auditory Learning
This learning style allows you to learn by listening from an audio content. It includes anything that explains using sound, musical notes or voice recordings. Auditory learners love music and can remember the lyrics. They benefit from speech recognition tools, mnemonic devices, lecture recordings, audio and video tapes. This type of learning helps you to – prepare oral reports, take part in debates, participate in discussions and benefit from study groups.
5. Social Learning
Learning by interacting with the society is termed as social learning. In our tech-savvy world, learning has become popular by the use of social platforms as well as gamification. E-Leaners can integrate social media along with their study materials. It provides an engaging and informative learning experience to social media users.
6. Intrapersonal Learning
Intrapersonal learning is exactly the opposite method of social learning. Independent learners give their best when working in a quiet space. They focus on their thoughts and tend to enjoy their own company. They are good at self-study, self-analysis, self- management, and self- reflection.
7. Kinesthetic Learning
Kinesthetic learning is the method of learning through physical activities. These learners are attracted to the sense of touch and motions. They tend to apply the concept in the real world or create something innovative or practice a skill. It helps them to find success in outdoor activities, games, dance, art, etc.
8. Naturalistic Learning
Nature lovers fall under this category. They understand pattern and apply them scientifically for better understanding. They make use of their high sensory skills to learn about the natural world.
